Triptych to verses by Aron Vergelis: For Baritone and Organ. - Moscow, P. Jurgenson. - 36 p.
This edition of the Russian composer Sergei Chebotaryov's Triptych to words by the outstanding Soviet Jewish poet Aron Vergelis (1918-1999) appears in the year of the centenary of the poet's birth. The composer set to music three short poems from the lyrical cycle Libe ('Love'). In the present edition, the singer's part is notated in two versions:in the original language (Yiddish) and in a poetic translation into Russian. The organ's rich sound, combined with voice, enlarges the music's expressive range.
For performing musicians - singers and organists - as well as for conservatory students.
